Instinctive Obedience is the dynamic, effective, and simple training system developed by Donnie Hult with his years of experience training police, military K9's, Search & Rescue, Service dogs, as well as thousands of family pets and people; Donnie has been training dogs, Dog Trainers, and People Trainers over 45 years.
How instinctive obedience(TM) began
This is the day Donnie Hult knew he wanted to train dogs like his father- Donald F Hult, Sr, Washington DC Metro PD with Explosive Detection K9 Satan, pictured here at an ROTC event in 1966. Donnie has been training dogs, dog trainers, and people trainers for a variety of purposes for over 45 years. Donnie has trained dozens of other dog trainers, thousands of people and dogs. He has built 3 successful dog training businesses and facilitated the building of dog training companies and businesses throughout the USA. Donnie mentors and advises dog trainers from all over the country on a daily basis.
Donnie's unique, effective, and most importantly simple Instinctive Obedience(TM) training systems comes from the basic commonalities of each and every training style he has ever experienced. Recognizing their different weak and strong points- and what they have in common, and putting them into use for every day people in every day life.
Instinctive Obedience(TM) works with anyone using clicker training, treat training, electronic collars, pinch collars, etc- Instinctive Obedience(TM) fits well with all of those. Those (e-collars, treats, etc) are each a different tool to get the dog's attention and movement. Our Instinctive Obedience(TM) training is so much more than teaching commands and tricks; Instinctive Obedience (TM) gives you the tools to effectively become the leader of your home and your life, as well as your dog.
